We know KITT (http://jalopnik.com/cars/knight-rider/exclusive-first-pictures-of-kitt-from-the-new-knight-rider-tv-series-yes-its-a-shelby-gt500kr-327687.php) is a Shelby GT500KR (http://jalopnik.com/5041967/what-would-you-do-with-a-gt500kr), but apparently KITT is also able to transform into any of a variety of other Ford models, like the F-150 (http://jalopnik.com/399319/first-video-of-kitt-valmorphanizing-into-a-ford-f+150-fx4-pickup-truck), ostensibly for stealth purposes. In other words, KITT is a GT500KR when Michael Knight needs to look cool, and a Fusion or Escape when he's trolling for hookers. But how many Ford vehicles is too many? Apparently the movie provided a clue: "Even Ford said it was way too much in the two-hour (movie)," said executive producer Gary Scott Thompson. "But unfortunately, it's a show about a car." Wow, with a plug like that, we can't wait to set the DVR. [Freep (http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080923/ENT03/809230350)]
